On July 17, 2025 Ohio made history and became the 17th state to officially make Girls Flag Football a sanctioned sport under the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). The Cleveland Browns have been dedicated to paving the way for this new era where women and girls are empowered to take over the football world, and the momentum only continues to increase ahead of the 2028 Olympics where flag football will be a part of the games.
